Suzie, who is fluent in French and English, graduated Marymount Manhattan college in 2001 after returning from an intensive study program in Paris. Suzie was an actress and company member in Stone Soup Theatre Arts and serving as the Company's Membership Director when she became an insturmental part of the founding of UCS.

After returning from China in 2005, Suzie was accepted to the Teach for America program, and became an ESL teacher in New York City's public schools.
